Can a sexy demon really spin straw into gold?

Poe Dupin, raven shifter and thief extraordinaire, is in trouble with a capital ‘T.’ Not only did he get his wing caught in the cookie jar during his latest heist, but his loser stepdad, the alpha, seems determined to run their roost into the ground. And Baltimore is many things, but forgiving is not on the list.

When his stepdad puts the roost in peril, Poe sees no choice but to bargain with Charm City’s only demon, Tommy Tittoti. Rumors are that Tommy eats the souls of those foolish enough to try. Three strikes and you’re out. But really, Poe wasn’t using his soul anyway. And if it saves his roost? Worth it.

Tommy isn’t what Poe expects. Demon—huge, horned, hairy, and scary, right? Nope. Blond, gorgeous, with a bubble butt, and a lilting drawl that beckons Poe to come play. Total hookup-app fantasy material. Even if he is a murder twink.

Poe’s no angel, but Tommy . . . well he’s more devil than demon. Yet, Poe just can’t seem to keep his feathers out of the fire. As one bargain turns into two, and then a third tragedy strikes the ravens, Poe finds himself falling for a guy who may very literally be the death of him. Or maybe the flames will burn them both.

The Demon’s in the Details is a fast-paced, roller coaster of a romance with a guaranteed HEA and lots of steam. Shenanigans include: a gold object that is definitely not a ring, a best friend who’s trigger-happy, and a demon who’s got a few surprises up his, uh, sleeve.

Previously published as part of the Fables Retold anthology.

About The Author

meghan-logo

MEGHAN MASLOW is truly a rare breed. No, not a unicorn (although that would be sooo cool). She’s a—gasp!—extroverted writer.

She believes that life is meant to be lived. Preferably with lots of people around. Every day is an adventure, or should be. She’s spent a large portion of her life working and living in various countries in Africa.

She’s multi-talented, having perfected the art of eavesdropping in bars around the world while chugging local brews, and gabbing with anyone who isn’t quick enough to elude her grasp. She believes kindness is contagious, and learning to laugh at yourself is one of life’s greatest gifts (and challenges).

She advocates for social justice, believes storytelling can be transformative, and surprisingly isn’t a misanthrope. She loves travel, reading, world music, Moscow Mules, awkward dancing, dreadlocks, her family, and um… writing.

Superbly paced solo effort from Rinda Elliot is a real delight

Remote Access (Thick as Thieves #)Remote Access by Rinda Elliott

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rinda Elliott’s first venture into solo publishing in three years is a superbly paced romp through the suspense romance genre with two utterly compelling main characters who I fell in love with completely.

Lane is all fierce independence, determined to get out of the life he’s been blackmailed into now that he has nothing holding him back from getting revenge of the man who has made his life a living Hell for a decade.

Quincy is everything I’d want in a cop – honest and true and hating the fact he lost his badge when he was forced to play dirty to try and out a corrupt senior officer.

Together they are dynamite and the chemistry is off the charts hot. I loved the whole opposites attract premise, the thief and the cop, both forced into close proximity because of their shared goal – to bring down an evil man.

It’s not an overly long read and takes place over a relatively short space of time, but I absolutely believed that these two fell hard for each other within that timeframe and I loved the slow and steady burn through attraction into lust into genuine affection and the fall into love.

There’s a great bunch of secondary characters and good set up for the rest of this series which now feels a lot like a modern-day Adventures of Robin Hood as the so-called bad guys start to right wrongs.

Loved this, can’t wait for more!
