Shifter tale with a difference from Hannah Walker
A Tale of Two Horns by Hannah Walker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Loved this shifter tale with a difference. It had a lightness to it even though there was an element of threat which manifested itself towards the end of the story.
Charlie and Knox made a great pairing, the contrast between the power of a Siberian Tiger and the delicate unicorn with its sense of joy brought a cool dynamic.
There wasn’t a huge amount of story outside of the romance, but there was some good world building and I loved the atmosphere of the little square where Charlie’s bookshop was located.
I believe this is the first of a new series so I’m looking forward to finding out more about the setting and the threat from the feral shifters which caused the tensions later in the narrative.
