Another deeply delicious tale of death and destruction bound in love

Chokehold (Guns n' Boys, #5)Chokehold by K.A. Merikan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Oh these guys! Seth and Domenico are passion and pain, desire and danger, anger and arousal, love and longing.

There are two brutally perfect scenes in this book which show that, in spite of everything they’ve been through, and done to each other, they have a love which is as epic as Antony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, Rhett and Scarlett. Great lovers all, bound together in eternity.

Let’s hope this love story has more of an ending like Westley and Buttercup though 😉

Alligators and human trafficking, oh my!

Guns n' Boys: Swamp Blood (Guns n' Boys, #4)Guns n’ Boys: Swamp Blood by K.A. Merikan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The boys are still hiding out from the Mafia when they end up rescuing a teenager from a dodgy situation.
This leads to a run in with the Coffin Nails Motorcycle Club (think Sons of Anarchy) and a whole new host of issues to deal with.

Dom and Seth are as sexy and dangerous as ever, Dana is still trying to manipulate the situation and new guy Mark has nowhere else to go.

There’s the usual amount of drama in this one but the sexy times are much more meaningful as Seth tries to pull himself back together after Vincenzo’s torture and Dom tries to deal with almost losing Seth.

Worth every one of those five stars

Guns n' Boys: Box Set - Books 1-3 + Guns n' Boys: Paris + FREE Guns n’ Boys: Box Set – Books 1-3 + Guns n’ Boys: Paris + FREE “Blood&Marriage by K.A. Merikan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a ride, my God this box set is an explosive mix of murderous Mafiosi and gorgeously dangerous guys. With all sorts of taboos, death, mayhem and illegal dealings, the three novels and two short stories in this collection bring to life Seth and his reluctant bodyguard Domenico almost in beautiful 3D.

Their relationship jumps off the page, brutal and passionate, tortured and calm, forgiving and reckless, emotional and ice-cold, these two Italian men scorch their way through one drama and crisis to another, bringing along a whole host of interesting side kicks and characters.

It’s not all dark though, there are plenty of humorous moments, plenty of heart warming still and quiet moments, plenty of heart breaking moments.

The two short stories brilliantly flesh out the first three novels and while I don’t usually like M/F appearing in the middle of an M/M series, in this case Lucrezia and Santo’s romance worked perfectly as insight into what was happening on the other side of Seth and Dom’s daring escape.

Sex is all ends up epic but the true joy is in the crafting of two wondrous men who are both vicious at times, both a little bit broken, both a little bit trapped into their Family roles but who, together, find the strength to try and break free.
