Frat Wars Epub

We’re basically Romeo and Juliet. But dudes. And without all the dying.

Being VP of Sigma Beta Psi is wild. I get all the benefits of being in charge with hardly any of the responsibility.

Parties, pranks, and frat politics—college life has never been sweeter.

Until I meet Bailey Prince.

He has the face of a goddamn angel. I don’t know where he came from or why I’m so obsessed.

But I do know he’s a Kappa.

And our houses have a rivalry that’s written into legend.

At Rho Kappa Tau, I’m a legacy.

It’s a lot of pressure, but I’ve always been responsible, never had that rebellious need to rock the boat, and I like it that way.

But after a party at Sigma—the jock frat—I meet Chad Doomsen, and for the first time in my life I want to step outside my square.

Our houses have always had a rivalry, but some of the guys seem to hate Chad specifically, and I don’t know why.

He’s surprisingly sweet and kind. At least to me.

I need to stay away. A relationship with Chad would be betraying the very legacy that brought me here.

But I can’t help myself. And it seems, neither can he.

Frat Wars is a romance between MCs from rival houses. It has friendly competitions, no hazing, and a swoony romance kept secret.

I perch on one side of the couch, and he switches on the desk lamp before taking the other side. We’re so close that when he angles toward me and stretches his arm over the back of the couch, his hand brushes my hair.

I swallow.

“I haven’t done this in a while,” frat boy says. His voice is deep and rumbly, and it might as well be a flute with how quickly my cock rises at the sound.

“Done what?”

“Ah …” His dark gaze darts away, and the same uncertain look he gave me earlier returns. I’m not sure if he’s nervous, or if I haven’t been obvious enough, so I might as well help him out.

“Hooked up, you mean?” I eye his impressive muscles. “I find that hard to believe.”

A relieved smile fills his face that sets off all these little nerves in my stomach. He looks all big and badass, but there’s something almost shy under his dude-bro first impression. “Hooked up … with a guy.”

“But you have before?” I’m not in the business of dealing with bi-curious guys. In my experience, they take up more time than I have to give.

“Don’t worry, I more than know what I’m doing.”

“Thank fuck. Playing teacher isn’t my kink.”

Something sparks behind his eyes. “You don’t wanna reward me for extra credit?”

“That came way too easily for you.”

“I’ve been around.”

I tilt my head. “Are you bi, or …”

“Yep. You?”

“Full blown homo.”

“So I take it you’ve done this before too?” He reaches over and rests his hand on my thigh. “This okay?”

Damn, he’s precious. I love this whole bashful bad boy thing he’s got going on. Instead of answering, I reach for his hand and slide it up my leg until he’s palming my erection through my pants.

This okay?” I tease.

“Fuck.” He gives me a squeeze before a soft laugh falls from his lips. “I’m so nervous all of a sudden.”

“Nervous?” I don’t mean to sound so cynical, but come on. “Does that line actually work on people?”

“What? I am.”

“Uh huh.” I grab his shoulders and swing my leg over his lap until I’m straddling him. This close up, I hear his sharp inhale. My lips find his ear. “Still nervous, big guy?”

“If I am, I’m suddenly too turned on to care.”

“Much better.” I go to kiss him, but he tilts his head back and reaches up to cup my face. “Problem?”

He shakes his head. “You’re just so … pretty.”

A trickle of annoyance passes through me. “And?”

“I can’t stop looking at you.”

His voice has dropped with awe, and I frown as I puzzle out whether this is another pick up line. His face is so open though, his eyes soft as his stare traces my features. I want to believe him, but this is college and people will say anything to get laid.

“You can drop the flattery. I’m not going anywhere.”

He leans forward and nips my bottom lip. “Good. I hate rushing through the fun things in life, and I have a feeling I’m going to want a follow up.”

“We’re on the same page then.”

“Kissing okay?”

I card my fingers through his hair. “It’s the only way to start.”

His warm breath hits my skin a second before his mouth is on mine. His lips are cold and at war with the warm tongue he sweeps into my mouth. He tastes like sugar from the soda he’s been drinking.

For how nervous he apparently was, the kiss is borderline desperate. He groans as he presses forward, tilting me back under the force of it.

Then suddenly his arms wrap around me and I’m being hauled back against his body. He leans against the couch and when I kiss him back, I’m just as needy for more. I’m glad he said there’s the possibility of round two, because while he might not want to rush, my dick has other ideas.

It needs to be touched.

“How pathetic am I if I come in the next five minutes?” I murmur against his mouth.

“Whether I beat you to it. Because fuck I don’t think it’ll take long.”

Excellent. It feels good to know I’m not the only one being driven mad here. His business shirt is unbuttoned halfway and the sliver I can make out of his chest, makes me want more. I hurry to reach for the rest of the buttons, and as soon as his shirt is open, I can’t help splaying my fingers over his abs.

“Fair warning, I don’t have any of these.”

“That’s okay, I have enough muscle for the both of us.”

“I’ll say.” I want to lick them. “Your body’s unreal.”

“Eh.” He reaches for my buttons and I meet him halfway. “I work hard, but …” He pushes my shirt off my shoulders. “This.” His fingers run from my throat, down to the sensitive skin on my stomach. “This turns me on so much.”

I look down at my scrawny, too pale body. “You need to watch more porn.”

He chuckles, and I cut the sound off with my mouth, giddy with the feel of his warm skin flush against mine this time. I’m desperate to get to our pants, to feel his dick gliding along my length.

I’ve reached for his zipper, fingers brushing an impressive erection, when someone pounds on the door so hard it makes me jump.

Chapter 2: Kingston Sabiano

It was a pleasant change of pace to not dissolve into instant bickering, so I enjoyed the silence as we drifted in our separate thoughts. It lasted longer than I had expected before he asked me, “How long have you been planning this?”

Rather than telling the truth, I kept my answer playful. “Your arguments with reporters at press conferences give me a lot of time to think about other stuff I’d rather be doing.”

“Like me?” He scoffed at the notion. “You can’t be serious.”

I couldn’t resist teasing him a little. “Our fighting wasn’t foreplay for you?”

He turned his head to stare at me. “Seriously?”

I gave him my best attempt at an innocent expression. “What? Our banter really gets me going.”

Covering his face to hide the grin he couldn’t quite smother, he laughed hard. For once, it wasn’t bitter or haughty, but a sound of genuine amusement that warmed my heart. “Is that why you antagonize me?”

“Yes, and I’m very offended it took two years to get you to translate that into ‘please fuck me stupid,’” I said with mock upset. My peals of laughter ruined the effect, though. “How much more obvious could I be that I desired you?”

I reached out to caress his cheek with my clean hand as I gave him a sincere look. “Because all I have ever wanted these past five years was to be yours.”

“Five years? We’ve only been competing for two.”

“Yes, because it took me three years to become good enough to stand on the same stage as you.” I opened my heart up to him, hoping like hell he didn’t reject me for it. “I’ve been chasing after you since you trounced Terrence Rayston in your debut match.”

It was the first time I had ever stunned him into silence. Swallowing hard, he eventually said, “I don’t understand.”

“The media dubbed you the Iceman because of your icy blue eyes, the way you ruthlessly defeated every opponent, and your cold and aloof demeanor.” I stroked the outline of his strong jaw, amazed he hadn’t rejected me yet. “It confused me how so many people got you so wrong.”

“What do you mean?”

“You’re not ice—you’re fire.” I took a deep breath to steady my nerves. “I didn’t understand how none of them could see that you burn with a need to be the best and always win. You torched all your opponents to ashes with every triumph. It took me years to become good enough to feel your heat as I faced off against you.”

When he said nothing, I hesitated before I continued confessing. “If I didn’t beat you, you’d never notice me. That meant I had to be better than the best, because that was the only way to make you focus all your fire on me. I’m the only one who can withstand your flames. To make you see that, I had to drive you wild by being unbeatable. I want you to only burn for me.”

Slammed into You cover.jpg

They were like two hurricanes, touching down on the same shore.

Amir is a rising slam poet who wants to make it big. While he works a day job at a café, he writes poems like his life depends on it and performs at a local poetry slam every week.

But then Landon comes to a slam, and he’s not impressed by Amir. When he joins the slam team, he jeopardizes Amir’s chance to go to Nationals, all Amir’s been dreaming about for the past year. He vows to show Landon that he is the better poet.

As Amir and Landon clash to get the last spot at Nationals, their bickering and attempts to undermine each other quickly turn into angry lust. Amir’s priority is to win, but he can’t seem to get Landon out of his head…

He wasn’t expecting to find Landon in the hotel room when he unlocked it. But there he was, pacing back and forth in front of the beds, his footfalls heavy. Amir quietly closed the door behind him, and Landon didn’t notice as he stepped into the room.

He had unbuttoned the pink shirt, revealing a heather grey muscle tank underneath. His shoes were still on and there was no doubt he was bothering the people in the room below them. But as he turned on his heel again, this time facing Amir, he could tell he was absolutely livid.

“You okay?” Amir asked, his voice surprisingly small.

Landon stopped pacing and looked up. His eyes narrowed. “Yes, Amir. I’m fantastic.”

Amir felt anchored to the spot. “Look, I’m sorry that happened-”

“No, you’re not,” Landon bit back. “You just want to hear me say it. That’s why you followed me back.”

“Say what?”

Landon chuckled darkly. “That you were right! That I shouldn’t have done that poem at all!”

Amir looked right at him. He tried to be diplomatic. “I think it can serve as a learning experience.”

Landon shook his head. “God, just tell me off already!” His voice was growing louder with every word he spoke. “Blame me for crushing your dreams. I can take it.”

“You need to chill the fuck out. I’ll leave.” But Amir didn’t move.

“No,” Landon said. “We need to deal with this. It’s gone on too long.”

Amir almost asked what, but he knew what he was talking about. The constant conflict between the two of them, the way they were at each other’s throats all the time. But Amir didn’t really think Landon was in the mood to build bridges.

“Fine. Here it is. Maybe if you’d just listened, you wouldn’t need to be so pissed off at me! You could have done your other poem, and we could have won the whole damn thing!”

“There we go!” Landon yelled. “I knew you blamed me.”

“Who else would I blame?” Amir asked, feeling his own temper begin to build. “Everyone else got decent scores except for you!”

Landon took two steps forward towards him. “I know. I should have listened to the All-Knowing Amir! If only you’d shown me the way!”

Amir stepped forward, too. They were only about a foot apart now. “But you can’t deny I was right! You weren’t confident in that poem, didn’t know it as well. You didn’t even know it well enough to remember the goddamn words!”

Then Landon’s finger was jabbing into his chest. Amir was surprised that the distance between them had closed. Despite himself, he could feel how close Landon was, thinking of the scene at the club.

Without even thinking about it, he leaned in and kissed him, the need too great. Landon was still so warm, though this time it was probably from righteous fury. Landon was stock still for a few seconds before he pushed him backwards, just enough so their bodies were no longer touching.

“Fuck you,” Landon said, but this time he wasn’t yelling. His voice was almost a whisper.

Then he grabbed Amir’s shirt collar and pulled him back in, kissing him roughly.
