Fabulous conclusion to Tad and Scott’s epic romance

Up-Ending Tad, Bundle 2 (Up-Ending Tad: A Journey of Erotic Discovery, #4-6)Up-Ending Tad, Bundle 2 by Kora Knight

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching Tad find himself through his relationship with Scott and these final three novellas also give the reader a tiny peek inside Scott’s head which is fantastic.

The journey is still beyond sensual but there is so much emotion you feel it pouring off the pages as they connect over and over again.

This may be an erotic story but it’s absolutely a love story too.

Wonderfully erotic tales of sexual discovery

Up-Ending Tad, Bundle 1 (Up-Ending Tad: A Journey of Erotic Discovery, #1-3)Up-Ending Tad, Bundle 1 by Kora Knight

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved the first three encounters between Tad and Scott as the former finds out that he not only has a kink for a flogger but that he might just be crossing the line of sexual attraction.

These are stupendously hot, not least the beautifully drawn out breakdown of Tad’s resistance each time he meets with Scott. There’s loads of emotional context though too, it’s not all based on lustful need.

Kink-tastic short from K C Wells

LaceLace by K.C. Wells

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

K C Wells is high on the list of writers who know how to write kink and write it well.

This is a sexy and sweet novella about a guy who suddenly finds there’s just something irresistible about his mate in lace pants.

It’s not just kink though, there’s a real relationship drawn between the two men that has nothing to do with erotic underwear.

A kink too far for me

Curious BeginningsCurious Beginnings by M.A. Innes

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

While I can appreciate the ability to write about this particular kink, I can’t say I enjoyed the story at all as I didn’t feel or buy into the fairly instantaneous connection between Mark and Sebastian.

Also the whole age play infant thing, definitely not a kink that does anything for me although I do love a good daddy/boy romance.

Definitely steamy and a little bit kinky

Steam (Collected Stories Book 1)Steam by Kay Simone

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’ve read a couple of these already but it was a delight to get two brand new stories as well from the very talented pen of Kay Simone.

I think my favourite was definitely the daddy kink alternative meeting for The Aftermath’s delightful couple Daniel and Will. Second favourite was the escort hook up, with its edging and extreme sexual tension.

Overall though each of the stories brings something interesting to the table in a light, but decidedly sexy, fashion.

Possibly the best one yet

His Favorite Color Is Blood: Coffin Nails MC (Sex & Mayhem, #8)His Favorite Color Is Blood: Coffin Nails MC by K.A. Merikan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is an adrenaline rush through some of the more horrific parts of life – the darkness which unfortunately exists to fuel sick and twisted desires.
Misha was kidnapped and forced into a life of horror when he was only 17 and has been in a living Hell for five years.

Grim is the Coffin Nails assassin, a Nomad who carries out the jobs the various chapters of the motorcycle club want doing when there’s trash needs cleaning out. He’s hard and powerful, dangerous, gay. And he hates homophobes.

Grim also has an unusual fetish, he’s an amputee devotee, he finds people with missing limbs fascinating and when he inadvertently rescues Misha during a Louisiana chapter raid on traffickers, he finds his own little broken bird.

This book is as brutal as all the others in the series but, bizarrely, it also has some of the most tender and loving moments. I’ve been waiting for Grim’s story since he was first introduced and it didn’t disappoint.

I loved this book, I loved how Misha slowly learnt to trust in Grim, that he loved him and not just his broken limbs, and how Grim realised that it was more than just his stumps that made Misha perfect for him.

But it’s not for everyone. It has some truly horrific moments, the subject matter it deals with is beyond revolting to even think about and the knowledge this world is real makes my stomach turn.

These are not hearts and flowers romances but they are love stories and these two authors are masters of their craft.
