I really enjoyed this second chance, teenage sweethearts reunited romance from a new author to me.
Rachel Lacey has a light touch with her narrative, creating two unique voices and giving all the necessary information about Phoebe and Taylor’s past relationship when they were 16 without turning into an info dump.
I loved all the animal involvement, the dogs were just as important to the relationship as the two women were.
It’s medium steamy, with lots of feels, and I totally believed in them as a couple and in their happy ending.
