My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book wasn’t what I thought it was going to be, instead it was just a really sweet road trip between two guys who used to be step-brothers for a short while quite a few years previously.
I loved the chilled nature of the narrative, even when Braxton was panicking about spending money, reaching LA in time, and whether Craig was really serious about being attracted to him.
It’s a relatively slow burn, considering it takes place over only 20 days, but those 20 days are jam-packed with all kinds of lovely moments as Braxton – everything is from his single POV – discovers that Craig’s a lot more than he thought he was.
Super, super sweet ending and I absolutely LOVED the epilogue which takes place a year down the line.
