Can a sexy demon really spin straw into gold?

Poe Dupin, raven shifter and thief extraordinaire, is in trouble with a capital ‘T.’ Not only did he get his wing caught in the cookie jar during his latest heist, but his loser stepdad, the alpha, seems determined to run their roost into the ground. And Baltimore is many things, but forgiving is not on the list.

When his stepdad puts the roost in peril, Poe sees no choice but to bargain with Charm City’s only demon, Tommy Tittoti. Rumors are that Tommy eats the souls of those foolish enough to try. Three strikes and you’re out. But really, Poe wasn’t using his soul anyway. And if it saves his roost? Worth it.

Tommy isn’t what Poe expects. Demon—huge, horned, hairy, and scary, right? Nope. Blond, gorgeous, with a bubble butt, and a lilting drawl that beckons Poe to come play. Total hookup-app fantasy material. Even if he is a murder twink.

Poe’s no angel, but Tommy . . . well he’s more devil than demon. Yet, Poe just can’t seem to keep his feathers out of the fire. As one bargain turns into two, and then a third tragedy strikes the ravens, Poe finds himself falling for a guy who may very literally be the death of him. Or maybe the flames will burn them both.

The Demon’s in the Details is a fast-paced, roller coaster of a romance with a guaranteed HEA and lots of steam. Shenanigans include: a gold object that is definitely not a ring, a best friend who’s trigger-happy, and a demon who’s got a few surprises up his, uh, sleeve.

Previously published as part of the Fables Retold anthology.

About The Author

meghan-logo

MEGHAN MASLOW is truly a rare breed. No, not a unicorn (although that would be sooo cool). She’s a—gasp!—extroverted writer.

She believes that life is meant to be lived. Preferably with lots of people around. Every day is an adventure, or should be. She’s spent a large portion of her life working and living in various countries in Africa.

She’s multi-talented, having perfected the art of eavesdropping in bars around the world while chugging local brews, and gabbing with anyone who isn’t quick enough to elude her grasp. She believes kindness is contagious, and learning to laugh at yourself is one of life’s greatest gifts (and challenges).

She advocates for social justice, believes storytelling can be transformative, and surprisingly isn’t a misanthrope. She loves travel, reading, world music, Moscow Mules, awkward dancing, dreadlocks, her family, and um… writing.

This is a glorious examination of the power of love to change a life

56052281._SY475_Desires of a Monster: An Erotic Fairytale by Roe Horvat

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve read every version of this story as Roe has released them, and all I can say is every version got better and better.

I’m not going to try to explain why this book goes straight onto my favourites shelf because it’s almost impossible to quantify.

It’s as unfettered and as explosively sexy as most of his other erotica, and – like those books – there are so many more layers to it.

This isn’t just heart racing, steam filled deliciously decadent desires, oh no, it’s way more.

It’s about taking risks, it’s about finding a home, about discovering a hidden treasure, the freedom of submission and the power of love to fundamentally change your life.

It’s glorious.

My Queen of the short story can also write a damn good novella!

WIFSR CoverWhen I First Saw Red by Kasia Bacon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fantasy is my true love when it comes to reading and finding an author who can write stunningly brilliant stories like Kasia Bacon does is a joy.

Here she stretches beyond the 5k short story and into a novella filled with all the best bits of her Order Universe.

One snarky half-elf/incubus with a wicked tongue and a streak of independence a mile wide.

One stoic and resolute Drill Master, a soldier of honour and commitment.

Throw in a meddling whorehouse owner who wants the best for her friend even when that’s him leaving her employ, and a setting rich with culture and you get a fabulous opposites attract fated mates romance.

That there’s a sneak peek into The Order #3 at the end is just the icing on the cake.
