Jeeeeeeze I haven’t got the faintest clue how to review this book without giving away too much but all I can say is hold on for a helluva ride because Cara’s not taking any prisoners.

Be aware from the start that this is a duo in the series, so you’re only getting one side of the MMMM equation here.

Although technically atm it’s more of an MM/MM with four people who are intimately in a number of different permutations.

And finally we get some of the background to the epic cluster fuck that is Macklin and Walker’s relationship and marriage.

Readers should also pay attention to the potential triggers as the kink in this book goes heavily into consensual non-con and primal play.

I absolutely loved every twisted bit of it, from the explosive opener when Macklin is hurting and does something you know is going to have repercussions right through to the reptile hunt bonding of Lane and Ty.

And there, again, you know there’s going to be fireworks because Lane’s hiding a pretty big secret and it’s only a matter of time before Ty funds out.

March can’t come soon enough for Prowl and the conclusion of this set of lovers!
