A bit of snark on the way to the altar of happiness!

What a gorgeous catch up with Gabe and Dylan, full of all the usual snarking between them which is such a character of their relationship.

These two men have captivated me since they first appeared in Lily’s Missed Messages series just like Dylan fascinated Gabe with his sharp tongue and quick wit.

We’ve had brief snippets of their life as bonus scenes in Lily’s newsletter or her Facebook group, but this is the first lengthy visit back into this wonderful world of friendship, of family and all the history that goes before them and I adored it.

It’s funny, it’s heartfelt, at times it reminds you of the difficult upbring Gabe had and how Dylan broke down the heavy walls he’d put up around himself to protect him from more pain. It’s romantic, it’s scorching hot, it’s everything you’d want to read in a book between these two men.

I’m also officially adding my request here for a story for Joe, the wedding planner who turns up drunk as a lord at their first meeting but who clearly is the right man for the job. He’s got an air of sadness that surrounds him and he’s going through a divorce with a man you sense he still loves.

So come on Lily – second chance romance for Joe please!

As for the rest, with all the usual suspects on hand, and a visit to Devon where love just surrounds them all, this is a festive treat in abundance.
