A right Royal romance delights in this ice hockey series
Royal Lines by R.J. Scott & V.L. Locey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Ooh I did like that. What I’ve been enjoying the most about the Boston Rebels series is just how radically different each book is and this was no exception.
Royal romances take careful handling imho as you have to see the pressures getting involved with a country’s ruling family can bring while still being believable.
RJ and Vicki nailed it with Kaleb and Marquis and a lot of that was down to the latter’s status as an ice hockey star name.
The heat is also turned up high for this pair and there’s some lovely conversation between the two men as they keep trying to kid themselves it’s just temporary sex.
Throw in a fairytale setting with leaky old castles and siblings determined to give a prince grey hair, and what you’re left with it a delightful read.
