Sky and Devon’s pot farm adventures are a great read
The Groovy Alpha by Susi Hawke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I liked this one a lot, it had humour as well as a sweet spark between Sky and Devon and the whole pot farm element really worked well.
I also appreciated there was a lot more of the West Coast Wolves as a pack in this one, even though they’re all off doing their own thing, we saw plenty of the other guys from the first three books.
The plot itself is solid, it centres around traitors inside the pack and how Sky’s omega power of being able to see someone’s eyes changing colour when they lie comes in very handy.
There’s not as many smexy times in this as you might expect with an mPreg omegaverse but it totally fits within the narrative and Sky and Devon are super sweet together.
I also very much appreciated Gramps, he was a lovely addition to the pack and it was great to see Tucker, the one WCW who doesn’t have a territory of his own, and his gang of bikers and now I can’t wait for his story to round out the series.
This has been an overall enjoyable omegaverse, one that’s probably a great intro for anyone who’s not read any of that type of trope before.
