Gutted this series has ended but on a wonderful high note

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m gutted this series has ended because it’s been an absolute delight.

Here we get to see Austin and Charlie living their happily ever after and expanding their friends and family into a wonderful bubble of support.

There’s still a wee bit of tension from Charlie’s alpha father’s stiff pride, but it never becomes wearing or overdone.

On the way to happiness there are also plans to be made, experiences to live, and I thoroughly enjoyed it every time the expanded clans gathered.

Austin and Charlie really are perfectly matched, they’re both damaged by fame and the fallout of dealing with it.

But they’re also totally understanding of how to support each other, both emotionally and physically.

The sexual connection between them explodes in this book, and it’s gentled by some beautifully intimate moments too.

Colette leaves hints for a potential pairing which fascinates me but I’m currently going to be sulking as there’re no plans for it at the moment.

I may have to start a social media campaign to get her to reconsider 😉 (joking, of course, an author needs must follow the muse!)

But just saying I’m not averse to finding out more about certain characters.

Speaking of others, Jesse and Isaac and the twins are super happy and it was fab to see them pop in at times.
