OMG that was a hard fought for happy ending and totally different to what I was expecting.

One part, which I’m not going to spoil, really came out of nowhere, and I’m not ashamed to admit it made me teary.

The one thing that wasn’t a shock though was Denver and Mason’s feelings for each other. It was very clear their friendship had more than just a bromance vibe.

At times I wanted to thump Mason, but I also completely understood him and the fears and doubts he was labouring with.

Denver is a sweetheart, but he’s got his own demons to fight too and, while this is still as steamy and has the great banter I’d expect from Eden, it tackles a few more serious subjects too.

It’s a wonderfully realised exploration of falling for your best friend and the sexual intimacy develops organically.

My favourite one so far in this wonderful series.
