An epic conclusion to this Arthurian alternative universe series
Eternal Knight by Victoria Sue
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Even after all the discussions with Victoria Sue over the Arthurian mythologies and other related debates we had, she still managed to surprise and delight me with this concluding part of the fabulous Guardians of Camelot series.
It shouldn’t have surprised me, she’s put her own unique twist on the tales of King Arthur and his Knights of Camelot throughout the series, including new Knights, removing Arthur altogether (a wise move imho!) and providing four absolutely cracking good romance with a side order of paranormal suspense.
And here it all comes together with Gawain and Galahad’s story. As ever in my reviews of this series, there’ll be no spoilers here.
Let’s just say:
Yes, a thousand times yes, that ending was bloody epic ๐
Sir ****** still makes me laugh.
I liked that ******* got reclaimed by *******
LOVED the twist with ******
Can’t wait to see what other people think but for me, it beautifully brings all the threads together.
Plus, I so appreciated the nod to the mythos of the Once and Future King with all … ๐
Also appreciated the nod to Prince Arthur being a bit of a dick too!
And, after the dedication in book two made me cry, the Author’s Note in this one did it again ๐
