2020 On Goodreads – A round-up of a few of my favourites!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve had a fabulous reading 2020 in spite of what’s been going on in the world.

Cadiva’s 2020

This year I gave myself a target of 100 books as I knew I’d be more busy with work, plus the whole pandemic thing meant my son was being home schooled from the middle of March as I’m an extremely vulnerable person, as is his dad, so he was removed earlier than the UK school closures.

But even with all that, I managed to read (up to today) 317 books of varying length and pretty much all within the MM genre, which is fairly amazing when you think it’s quite a niche market within the bigger romance world.

My average book length was 234 pages and my average rating was 4.6* – which has gone up a fair bit 😁

Onto my Favourites Shelf went a number of books:

Desires of a Monster by Roe Horvat
by Roe Horvat

Merry Measure by Lily Morton
by Lily Morton

His Compass (His Contemporary MM Romance #2) by Con Riley
by Con Riley (although technically this isn’t out until January 2021!)

Against the Grain (Auckland Med #4) by Jay Hogan
by Jay Hogan

Merry Cherry Christmas by Keira Andrews
by Keira Andrews

Angels in the City by Garrett Leigh
by Garrett Leigh

The Darkest Knight (Guardians of Camelot #3) by Victoria Sue
by Victoria Sue

We Have Till Dawn by Cara Dee
by Cara Dee

Restored (Enlightenment, #5) by Joanna Chambers
by Joanna Chambers

And quite a few more! I think I added about 70 to my list in total as quite a few of my auto-buy authors put out two or more books in 2020.

So here’s to 2021, which I’m hoping will be a much brighter year than the one we’re saying goodbye to.
