Cara Dee always leaves me “breathless” with her skill

I’ve said it before, and will no doubt say it loads more times, but Cara Dee writes utterly superb kink.
Here she’s pushing all the boundaries in a Sado/masochistic triad which really holds no punches (pun absolutely intended) back in describing just how deep into the kink some people need to go to feel free.
Shay is a beautifully complex character, he’s bound tight in grief and survivor’s guilt, and while there’re echoes of similarly with Cole, Lucas and Kit, this triad is next level sadistic.
River and Reese absolutely fascinated me, I wanted to know everything about them, how they’d known they were sadists, why River’s kink was mental while Reese’s mixed Daddy care with brutality.
Together they were powerfully erotic, but also emotionally healing for Shay.
This book demonstrates beyond just the words how some people need BDSM to free themselves from the trials of life, anxieties, worries and misplaced emotions which can be damaging if left to fester.
I loved reading these three totally changing their lives to accommodate new feelings and new desires.
This series is shaping up to be an absolute classic.
