A sweet romance between two utterly delightful characters
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
That was such a sweet romance between two utterly delightful characters whose personalities bounced off the page.
I loved both Elliot and Braden, I loved their friends (shout outs to some of the characters from earlier books in the series which I always appreciate!) and I liked that there wasn’t really any overly dramatic angsting.
There’s some drama, but it’s caused by external forces rather than either of the two guys, and it’s all cleared up by them talking to each other – which I massively appreciate in any romance 😉
Lane is so good at writing these college age men, she gets into their heads perfectly imho and you can feel them just on the brink of full adulthood and moving into their next stage of life with confidence and a little bit of trepidation.
Falling in love on top of that is just the icing on the cake and while these guys are younger, I never feel like their love couldn’t be for a lifetime.
Another cracking good addition to the series.
