Beth saves the best course for last and serves up a delicious romance
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Five fat ‘not quite Michelin’ stars for this concluding book in what has been a totally outstanding series from Beth Bolden.
I was very lucky to beta read this book, not that it really needed anything changing because it was practically perfect, and I have to say, Beth saved the best for last.
We needed to see ‘The Bastard‘ through everyone else’s eyes so that when we finally got to see him through Kian’s, it emphasised just how different he was.
I loved this book. Bastian is so much more than just the bad-tempered chef, he’s passionate and loyal, loving and supportive, quick-tempered but capable of some serious slow burn.
Some of the sexy times in this book are Beth’s finest, she raises the temperature to boiling point and then lets the emotions explode.
I shall miss this merry band of chefs, and the special people they let into their lives, but I will picture them all happily cooking and loving until the final tables are cleared.
Thanks Beth, for the trust in letting me peek at your words before the rest of the world, and for bringing these men to life.
I’ve loved all the couples but Kian and Bastian will always be my favourites.
