We bid farewell (or at least only adieu for now I hope) to Josh and Gabe Roman-Wyatt with a madcap murder mystery vacation romance full of dodgy deeds and strange happenings.
The narrative itself meandered through the usual hot and steamy relationship between these two fabulous characters – as they tried to enjoy a relaxing vacation with no kids – and a suspense element with a menagerie of vividly painted secondary characters.
I’m not going into the plot at all, suffice it to say, it wasn’t what/who I expected in the end and it did throw me for a bit of a loop with the big reveal.
This whole series and the setting, with its fabulous blend of locations and a full complement of fully fleshed out supporting cast, has been a joy.
I hope this isn’t the last we see of Josh, Gabe and the rest of their family, and I’m looking forward to the spin-off series’ continuing with both Maeghan and Elijah’s next book and the next in the Road to Blissville
