My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My favourite one yet in this series. There’s nothing I love more than a well done second chance romance and Aimee delivered one in spades.
Andy and Milo were such a great pair, even before they officially sorted out their issues the sparks were flying. I loved the little insights into their past, the knowledge they had of each other as teenagers still proving to be the case 12 and then 14 years later.
I loved that it took time for them to reconnect outside of the mad sexual attraction and there was some truly spectacular angry sex going on when Andy first came home.
The long gap worked well, both men had matured and grown and learnt to come to terms with their parts in the break up and with the flaws in each of them which had made them capable of hurting the other.
As ever, the town of Blissville provide a a character of its own, as do the other residents and we get to catch up with Maegan and Elijah as well as Jon and Emory and see Memphis’ introduction to Lyric, whose romance is up next.
I love reading an author series where I know I’m going to pick up a book and be entertained throughout and Aimee Nicole is one of those for me.
