My rating: 5 of 5 stars
‘Given that Brooke Blaine ‘deaded me’ (listen to The Goon Show and all will be explained) with Forget Me Not, it’s rather appropriate that Easter is just around the corner as, with Remember Me When, I’ve just risen like Lazarus from the cold dead place my heart went with Ollie and Reid.
While short (and oh, how I’d love to read about them forever) this book is perfection. As with book one, I’m not giving anything away other than to say the heart recognises its twin, even through the pain and the confusion, and I loved every page of this.
I was so glad there wasn’t a huge wait between parts of this duet, I’m glad Brooke took the narrative choices she did with Reid’s family, I’m glad there are characters like Ollie and Reid to bring joy to my reading world.
Together these two books are simply gorgeous, their words matching the exquisite covers which represent two wonderful souls going through the flames and coming out reborn.
I loved Ollie and Reid and this duology will be a re-read for me whenever I want a beautiful and true romance.
