Loved Trent’s snark and Dieter’s vulnerability
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I love this ice hockey series from the talented pens of RJ Scott and VL Locey.
Book three has the same slight overlap with the events of books one and two as Dieter and Trent fall in love against all the odds.
There’s always a lot of humour in books from these two authors and this one keeps up the trend with Trent’s biting wit and his bonkers grandmother.
There’s also enough tension caused by Dieter’s addiction to painkillers but it never overwhelms the plot and the smexy times are on a moderate frequency and burst with emotions, lust and a hint of submission.
World building is exceptional, with a great cast of secondary characters waiting in the wings for their moments to shine. I can’t wait for Stan’s story.
