Another catch up with the Sizzling Miami boys, this one sees Red and Bull pulled in to the drama of a 16-year-old who reminds them so much of a younger Ian it’s scary.
But, because this is the Connors, there’s far more than just interest and the whole gang is involved in finding out just what has Dillon Young so scared he hides behind his hair and disappears for days on end.
As this is a novella, there’s not much room for development but as Jessie G is an expert at this type of snippet, everything you’d need to get deeply involved in the lives of Red and Bull once again is laid out perfectly in this story and you’re fighting alongside them as they slowly build up Dillon’s trust.
We also see Rupert, the lawyer from Ty & Chase’s last update (which I still need to read) and I’ve missed something somewhere because there’s a reference to Bella in this one which threw me as I didn’t know what it meant.
But neither is enough to distract from what is, at the heart of it, Red and Bull expanded their family once again to give hope and a home to a scared teenager.
