Argh so good but the ending left many questions
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I adore a good historical romance and this one was excellent, taking as it did the weavers risings of the early 19th century.
That it is based in Scotland is also a nice surprise as so many go for a London and Regency setting. But it’s also supremely frustrating as it is only the beginnings of the romance and it ends on a bit of a bum note with our heroes apart.
Still, I liked both David and Murdo, they had unique strengths and realistic weaknesses, and the historical feel of both Stirling and Edinburgh was well done.
Here’s to book two!
