Another thoroughly enjoyable addition to the Protectors stable

Revelation (The Protectors, #7)Revelation by Sloane Kennedy

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don’t know how Sloane Kennedy manages to keep up the enjoyment factor in all her Protectors series but she does.

The basic premise follows a pattern, one of Ronan’s men is given a job to either keep someone safe, or to take them out, but how that journey takes place is always a headrush of hot alpha men finding their true love (or loves on occasion!) in a place where they didn’t expect it.

On route there will be denial, some conflict, either internal through fears or doubt, or from a deadly enemy, Anand there will be bags and bags of sexual tension.

But, while the basic premise may be the same, each story has its own unique spark which makes it fresh and the final payoff is always earned and a just reward for the drama and angst that’s gone before it.

This one had an interesting pair of main characters, both with similar trust issues but those issues coming from quite different places. Ethan found his strength in Cain’s unwavering support, Cain found compassion and love in Ethan’s gentle touch.

And, as is often the case, we get a glimpse of potential new characters whose stories are to come and I cannot wait to read Vincent St James’ and, I believe from hints, pairing with Nathan.

Another great read which does exactly what I want it to do – entertain me 🙂 and a gorgeous cover to drool over.
